Not to start this review on a low point but this was a chore. Having been to All Out in a casual setting numerous times before, I had certain pre conceptions of what my experience at the establishment would be like; This my friends was a mistake on my part. On entering the restaurant my colleague and I were met with an empty Hostess station. Walking in through the less used entrance, I thought nothing of it at first.
We made our way over to the station on the far side of the bar only to be met with another empty space. When we approached a nearby waitress and inquired about whether or not there was a host or hostess available we were graced with a brisk "No." and an unfriendly face that quickly removed itself from our presence.
A bit confused with the attitude I received, I reached out to another nearby waitress to inquire about seating on the balcony area. Same response. Same attitude. Wow All Out, this is an all-around wonderful experience...
So after getting horrible treatment from two waitresses and no hostess in sight we opted to seat ourselves. Stepping out onto the outdoor balcony area we were very surprised to see that there was an abundance of tables available. Didn't that waitress just tell us nothing was available?! So we seated ourselves and awaited a menu. And we waited. And waited. Waitress after waitress passed our table straight without so much as a glance in our direction, save one who gave yours truly the death stare as she passed us. Is this an episode of Punk'd? There must be hidden camera around here SOMEWHERE!
I finally decided to get my own drinks, as I realized eating was obviously not an option. The saving grace was upon us. On approaching the bar I was promptly acknowledge by one of the bartenders who, by the way, was attending to two other persons at the time. One of his fellow bartenders was very prompt in realizing he was preoccupied with other customers and came to the rescue. Service at the bar was prompt, friendly and on point. Kudos All Out bar staff, you're doing it right. If only the wait staff could take example from these fine gentlemen.
At the end of it all we were never approached by the wait staff with so much as a refill request and so opted to take our hunger to another establishment.
Shame, shame, shame All Out. This was a poor show of form. The Bill Check cannot and will not recommend this establishment after such a poor show of customer service.
