Super Quality Supermarket has two branches but today The Bill Check will be taking a look at the central branch located in Endeavour. Parking is not a problem as very rarely there is a rush at this store so you can shop in comfort without having to navigate your cart through a crowd. On entering the grocery you notice the weekly specials displayed before you and your money immediately makes an escape out your wallet. Entryway is quite large so if you need to stop and take a look at the displays you won't be in anyone's way. Same goes for the aisles, wide and spacious.
Super quality has an adequate assortment of brands, however there are some things that you would expect in any supermarket that they just don't carry particularly in the snacks, juices and baby formula sections. Their meat section is a bit iffy, some days you can find the chillers filled to capacity and others instead of meat you are faced with stainless steel mirroring your image.
They seem to be facing the same problem in their fresh produce section as well. What I would say is don't depend on them for these two categories of food products as they need to sort out some supply issues. Upstairs you will find a well stocked home wares section with competitive prices.
Then we come to service. Super Quality's best members of staff are confined to the meat section. They are both friendly and efficient. The Bill Check cannot extend that compliment to the rest of the staff. Minimal or no floor staff meaning you can't find someone to help you or answer any questions. The home wares section upstairs has staff that are really unfriendly or invisible, not much else can be said about them.
The cashiers are slow or not trained well. This supermarket employs the system of no bag boys which means your cashier has to check each item and bag it on a turnstile. Needless to say with poor training your checkout time is much longer than it should be.
Prices are fair and service is poor but they rate high on the scale of convenience.
If you don't mind missing an item or two or ten and don't mind a slow cashier then you won't mind shopping here.
